Aasim Ahmad

I teach research ethics to graduate and master’s students at the Aga Khan University Karachi, Pakistan, as I am co-PI to an NIH-FIC curriculum development grant, being adjunct faculty at the Centre of Bioethics and Culture at Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (CBEC-SIUT) I teach in the Diploma and Master’s program in Karachi and KEMRI in Kenya Nairobi. I am the Chair of JSMU IRB, a member of Aga Khan and Ziauddin Universities ERCs, and a member of ERB of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). I am co-chair of the Guideline Development Group for Contact Tracing at WHO and a former member of WHO COVID-19 Ethics & Governance Working Group. I am also a board member of the International Association of Bioethics.
