Soumyadeep Bhaumik
Soumyadeep is a medical doctor and international public health specialist. As the Head of the Meta-research and Evidence Synthesis Unit at the George Institute for Global Health.He oversees a global and agile team of researchers, specializing in fit-for-purpose approaches to synthesizing evidence for informing policies, practices, and guidelines. His primary focus is on innovating methodologies for research priority setting and developing core outcome sets for clinical trials. Additionally, he conduct interpretive policy analysis to understand the societal construction and framing of public health problems. As a methodologist, he work in a disease-agnostic manner. He is currently working on using research priority setting as a pro-justice tool in the climate and health knowledge ecosysem
