Katharine Wright is a freelance ethics consultant, and former Assistant Director of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics in the UK. She is an internationally recognised expert in bioethics and its intersection with policy and practice, with a particular interest in the ethics of global health research, and in concepts of vulnerability and inclusion/exclusion from research. She was responsible for the Nuffield Council’s 2020 report on the ethical conduct of research in global health emergencies, and is currently working with the WHO's Health Ethics and Governance Team on the ethical challenges in health and climate policy and research.
