Isabella Lenihan-Ikin

Isabella Lenihan-Ikin (she/her) is currently undertaking her Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Medicine at the University of Oxford, where she is a Rhodes Scholar. Her research draws on qualitative methods to understand the health impacts of climate change among outdoor workers in Aotearoa New Zealand, where she is from. She holds a Masters of Science in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford, as well as a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Victoria University of Wellington. She is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the New Zealand High Court, and brings a diverse professional background in government, law and trade unions. She is an Executive Member of Ora Taiao: The New Zealand Climate and Health Council. She is personally and professionally committed to addressing the health emergency that climate change is responsible for.
