Renu Varghese

My name is Renu GBoy Varghese, I am currently the Director-Principal of Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences and also the Professor of Pathology. I have been working as a faculty of Pathology in this institute for the last 23years which is a Medical college training undergraduate and postgraduate students. Before this I was working as faculty in a private University in Chennai from 1994till 2002. I have been involved in various Medical Education programmes and I have been awarded FAIMER fellowship in 2012. I am also involved in various research activities and in research committees. I have also been faculty in research methodology worshops involved in training students in research and ethics. I have publications in national and international journals. I have been in various roles in the administration of the college. I have already completed a 6year term as Director-Principal from 2016 to 2022. I have stepped into this post the second time since June 2024.
